Ivanovski Dmitri I.

Born in 1864, education received at St. Petersburg University. During the three years was engaged in research on diseases of tobacco in southern Russia. The result of these studies were two published works: Iwanowski u. Polowzow, "Die Pockenkrankheit d. Tabakspflanze "(" Mem. de l'Acad. des sc. S. - Petersb. ", 1890; the same in Russian in" Proceedings of the Imperial Free Economic Society ") and" On Two Diseases of Tobacco "(in the Journal of Agriculture and Forests", 1892). "(1893) and" Studies on fermentation "(1894), for which he earned a Master of botany. Since 1901. - Professor of Warsaw University in the department of anatomy and physiology of plants. He received a doctorate for a thesis: "The mosaic disease of tobacco" (same in German in "Zeitschr. f. Pflanzenkrankheiten ", 1903).
