Biography Mishchenko Fedor Herasymovych
(1848 - 1906). He graduated from the course to the historical-philological faculty of Kiev University. For the protection of the dissertation: "The attitude of the tragedies of Sophocles to the modern poet of reality" (Kiev, 1874), received a master's degree and a docent. In 1881, Mr.. defended his doctoral thesis: "The experience of the history of rationalism in ancient Greece". Consisted professor at Kazan University and editor of his "Memoirs of Scientists". Academic activities has resulted in a number of large and small articles from the field of Greek antiquities and history of Greek literature and in exemplary translation into Russian capital works of ancient Greek historical literature, . accession to each translation a thorough critical study of the author and explanatory notes, .
