Biography Morokhovets Lev Z.
Born in 1848. Studied at the Petersburg Medico-Surgical Academy and the University of Heidelberg, where he was an assistant professor of physiology at Kuehne. Contains a professor at Moscow University, where his plans and under his leadership, built a new Physiological Institute. The department of physiology and in Peter's Academy of Agriculture and Forestry. C 1888 M. published under his editorship of "Proceedings of the Physiological Institute of the Imperial Moscow University" (5 volumes). In 1896 at the initiative of M. established the Department of Physiology of the Imperial Society of Naturalists, Anthropology and Ethnography. They are based at the department of history of medicine Medical History Museum. Major works: "The chemical composition of the cornea" ( "Moscow medical Journal", . 1876, . However German, . Heidelberg, . 1876), . "The laws of digestion" (dissertation on the Russian Doctor of Medicine, . St.Petersburg, . 1881), "Unity protein bodies", . t, .
