The Genoese nobleman, H. was also well known in Florence in 1314, Mr.. was ambassador to the Emperor Alexis Comnenus of Trebizond. N. - Author of a number of astrological works. Among them - "Introductorius ad iudicia astrologie" ( "Introduction to yuditsiarnuyu astrology"). In this book, H. shows his familiarity with Arabic astrology, lists 16 ways in which the planets exert their effect, argues that astrological predictions do not mean a fatal predestination. Apparently, H. was influenced by Pietro d'Abano - in particular, the doctrine that the rise and decline of civilization depends on the interaction between the mobile Zodiac eighth of the celestial sphere and stationary Zodiac ninth sphere. The other two pieces N. - "De infusione spermatis" and "Ratio diversitatis partus" - devoted to the influence of planets in the birth process rights. Two other works - "Liber iudiciorum infirmitatum" and "Canones modernorum astrologorum de infirmitatibus" - represent slightly differing versions of labor, which discusses the use of horary and elective astrology in medicine. He also owned astronomical works (some of them were published in 1475, Mr.. in Ferrara): a treatise on the field, a treatise on the construction of an astrolabe, the theory of the planets, the theory of the distances between the Earth and all the celestial spheres m dp. N. lived to a ripe old age, become appreciated as his contemporaries, and in subsequent generations of astrologers. In 1359, Mr.. Boccaccio's work on classical mythology praised N., indicating that H. was his "teacher in the movements of stars". Next Boccaccio said, "how great was his prudence, as the degree of his manners, as his extensive knowledge of the stars", etc.
