Argoli Andrea

Father, a widely known poet Giovanni Argoli (1.07.1609, Talyakotstso - 1660), who also studied astrology and mathematics. From 1622 to 1627, Mr.. A. headed the department of mathematics at La Sapienza (Rome). Perhaps he was dismissed from his post because of the lessons astrology. In 1632, Mr.. A. became professor of mathematics at Padua, where he spent the rest of his life.
