Professor of philosophy and mathematics at Messina (1649), and then - in the University of Pisa (from 1656). Simultaneously B. was a member of the Academy del Chimento Florence (until its closure in 1667). The last years of his life B. held in Rome, living in poverty. B. - The author of a treatise on medical astrology "Theorica mediceorum planetarum ..." (1666) and several works on astronomy.
