He began studying astrology in 1973. in Emherste, Massachusetts. There he received a Bachelor of Science of astrology and its history, studying in a special program at the University of Massachusetts. D. founded his own astrological firm "O Metrics Astrology Services", along with Barry Lynes, his first teacher. Within two years, D. conducted in Massachusetts, daily astrological radio program "High Tides" ( "high water"), which he then continued for another two years in Atlanta, Georgia.
Atlanta D. become a corporate astrologer in the "International Horizons, Inc." and one of the developers of "Astro", the first pocket calculator, astrological. He passed the examinations of professional level and the AFA Board of Astrology Examiners Atlanta. He served as chairman of the Board "Metro Atlanta Astrological Society" in 1983, after two terms he was president. D. also graduated from an intensive Z. Dobins, received a certificate interpreter astrokartografii and conducted the first workshop on astrokartografii, which he organized, together with Jim Lewis.

D. introduced now widely used term "astrodrama" (by analogy with the term "psychodrama") in the journal "Astrology Now". D. is the author of three books and numerous articles, he conducts workshops on the practical and other aspects of astrology for more than 30 congresses. D. teaching of astrology in different regions of the United States, as well as in Canada, Brazil, France, Britain, Holland, Belgium, Spain and Switzerland. Within two years he lived in France, working with the "Network for Humanistic Astrology" ( "Network of Humanistic Astrology") Alexandra Ruperti.

In 1982, Mr.. D. became one of the founders of the Astrological Association of interactions (AFAN) and worked in the leadership of the Association for 4 years. In 1986. he helped organize the first UAC, and now a member of its Board of Directors. D. was awarded the Prize of Mars (Mars Award) Brotherhood Canadian Astrological. He currently lives with his wife and two daughters in a suburb of Atlanta.
