Biography MBEKI Thabo (Mbeki Thabo)
(p. 1942) Born in a village in the Transkei Mbevuleni June 18, 1942 in a family of teachers. At Age 14 years, joined the ANC Youth League and joined the Communist Party. Secondary education in Lovdeylskom boarding school in Alice, was expelled from the latter in 1959 for organizing a strike. He studied by correspondence (by correspondence), University of London. After the announcement of the ANC outlawed Mbeki left the country and entered the University of Sussex in Brighton (UK), where he earned a Master of Economics. In 1970 he was invited to the USSR for military training. Later he worked as a functionary of the ANC in Zambia, Nigeria, Botswana, Mozambique and Svalizende. In 1990 he returned to South Africa, in the same year, left the ranks of the Communist Party, but left his post of head of international department of the ANC.
