Bazylev Vyacheslav Timofeyevich

(15.III.1919, der. Putyatino Smolensk region. - 5.I.1989, Moscow)
Born in a large peasant family. Graduated (1941) Moscow City Pedagogical Institute. VP Potemkin. Most of his scientific-pedagogical activity is connected with the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute. Lenin. B. belongs to a number of fundamental results in multi-dimensional differential geometry. Written (in collaboration) modern two-volume textbook on geometry for pedagogical institutes. For many years, led the scientific advisory board for the geometry in the federal and the republic's Ministry of Education.

Awarded the Order of the Patriotic War, 2 nd degree, and many military medals.
