Biography Budnikov Petr Petrovich
(21.H.1885, Smolensk - 6.HII.1968, Moscow) Corresponding Member of USSR Academy of Sciences (1939), Academician of the USSR Academy of Sciences (1939) and the Polish Academy of Sciences (1956). Hero of Socialist Labor (1965). Winner of State Prizes of the USSR (1942,1950,1952 gg.). Honored Worker of Science and Technology of the RSFSR. He graduated from the Smolensk real school (1906), Riga Polytechnic Institute (1911). Professor at the Universities of Ivanovo-Voznesensk, Kharkov (1918 - 1941 gg.) Moscow Chemical-Technological Institute. Mendeleev (1944-1968 gg.), The overall head of the department of technology of silicates. Author of over 500 works (books, monographs, etc.) and more than 900 inventions, containing theoretical generalizations in the field of chemistry and technology of silicate and oxide materials.
