(3. (16). VII.1911, with. Velino the Smolensk district of Smolensk province - 7.VIII.1963, Riga), Early years (1911-1923) took place in one of the oldest Latvian colonies, founded in 1888,. - Velino-Bashutkinskoy. Graduated Bashutkinskuyu Latvian school 1-st stage. After graduating from the Moscow All-Union Communist instuta journalism worked in the newspaper "Whistle" in 1940. - Editor of "Soviet Youth" in Riga. During the Great Patriotic War, led the railroad newspaper in Tashkent. As a special correspondent for Pravda in 1944. worked in Riga. In the 50-6D-ies. the election of a member of the Academy of Sciences of the Latvian SSR on the separation of the economy - executive editor of the journal Proceedings of the Latvian Academy of Sciences of the USSR ". Terms of journalistic and scientific interests of Mr.. connected with the study of the history of Latvia and its economic development.
