Viktor Ilyin

(28.VIII.1929, der. Isakovka Pochinkovskogo district of Smolensk region)
Author of 4 books, 4 brochures, more than 270 articles on folklore, past and contemporary Russian literature and literary criticism. Chairman of the Smolensk Regional Branch of the International Fund for Slavic Literature and Culture, the organizer of the annual celebrations of Slavic unity, became a notable event in the spiritual life of the Smolensk. As a result of scientific conferences held in the Days of Slavic unity, which since 1991. become international, edited and. 4 released a collection of essays: "Smolensk in the history of Russian literature and culture" (1993), .
