LAVRENYOV Vladimir

(genus. 22. VII.1939, with. Prechistoe Duhovschinskogo district of Smolensk region)
Member of USSR Union of Artists (1967). After Prechistenskaya high school he studied at the art and graphics of the Smolensk Pedagogical Institute (1960-65 gg.). From 1965 to 1980. lived in Moldavia, where he worked as a teacher of drawing and engaged in creative activities. Since 1980. lives in Smolensk. He participated in all regional and many national, all-union and foreign exhibitions. The most famous of his works - 'The World to your house' (1966), 'Rural game' (1974), 'Sport' (1975) and contemporary art from the series 'Viazma' (1985), 'Smolensk' (1987), 'My Village' (1982), 'Gerasimov-Boldinskiy Monastery' (1999). Pictures L. are in the Smolensky museum-reserve in the fund of the Ministry of Culture, in the museums of the city of Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Dushanbe, Chisinau, Pavlodar, Roslavl Gagarin, in private collections in Russia, the USA, Australia, England, Mexico, Canada and France.
