Mr. Arnau Yuri - Test Pilot. Born December 17, 1917 in the town of Balashov, Saratov region. Russian. Since 1934 he lived in the village Lopasnya (now the town of Chekhov Б? ), Moscow Region. He worked as a turner in the mechanical plant. In 1936 he graduated from the 3 course Podolsky Industrial Technical. In 1936-1938 Б? turner Lianozovo wagon factory. In 1938 he graduated from Mytishinskiy flying club.
In the Soviet army from 1938. In 1939 he graduated from Engels Military Aviation School. He served in line units air. In 1940-1942 Б? pilot-instructor Transbaikalian Military Aviation School of Pilots (Ulan-Ude). In 1942 once again served in line units the Air Force.
Member of the Soviet-Japanese war: in August-September 1945 Б? navigator 718 th Fighter Regiment (9 th Air Army, Trans-Baikal Front) conducted 20 sorties. In 1945 it was repressed. Until 1948 he worked at the factory the Interior Ministry, in 1948 was the club manager of the NKVD in Norilsk.
