L aniline Sergei Alekseevich. Born on October 8 (25 September st.s) 1901 in Moscow. Childhood and adolescence spent in the town of Khimki, Moscow Region. Russian. He graduated from Commercial College. In the army since 1919. In 1921 he graduated from the Moscow School of aerial photogrammetry. In 1921-1924 combined military service with study at Moscow State University.
From 1922 to Б? flight test work in the Scientific Testing Institute of the Air Force. As an observer, timekeeper participated in the testing of aircraft, has successfully developed the methods and means of air navigation. Actively participated in the creation of devices and aerial reconnaissance addressing military use of aircraft in the night, high and blind Б?? Б?? flights and bombing from behind the clouds. He created the country's first instructions for piloting the instrument, in 1935 wrote a textbook for air navigation. Participated in a number of responsible long-haul flights around the country and abroad. In 1931-1935 was the flag-navigator teams of heavy aircraft involved in the flypast over Moscow.

Lieutenant General Engineer (1943). Awarded 2 orders of Lenin, 2 orders of the Red Banner, Order of Suvorov 2 nd degree, World War 1-st degree, 2 orders of Red Star and medals. Awarded FAI medals Б? de Lavaux (1937).
