. Rodionovka Krasnopartisansky (formerly. Pugachev) district of Saratov region. Russian. Education - a seven-year school and military school. In the Soviet Army, he served from 1941 to 1945.
From October 1942 until the spring of 1944 fought in the West and 3 rd Ukrainian fronts. Participated in the battles on the Elimination of Rzhev-Vyazma base of the enemy, liberate Ukraine and Moldova. Double seriously wounded. For military distinctions awarded the Order of the Red Star (1944) and three medals.

April 12, 1944 troops of the 37 th Army liberated Tiraspol and on a broad front reached the Dniester. In Moldovan village Karagash prepared to address the river and regiment, which serves Naumov. He, as commander of an engineering platoon, were tasked to provide the engineering for speeding up the Dniester, the seizure and consolidation of the captured springboard. Naumov perfectly coped with the tasks assigned.
Together with the first assault infantry platoon Naumova groups crossed over to the right bank of the river and in a fierce battle took a small bridgehead. The situation deteriorated to the bridgehead in the first minutes of battle. The enemy made desperate attempts to regain lost ground, to destroy our units. Naumov was ordered to mine the most probable direction of enemy counterattacks. With his platoon, he worked without rest through the night. Order regimental commander was executed.
Especially strong counterattack the enemy has taken the next morning. On the narrow section of the front he put a large group of tanks and infantry battalions. The first three tanks were blown up on mines laid by Naumov. Several tanks were destroyed by fire of our artillery. The attack was repulsed by the Nazis.
After some time the enemy tries to defuse the minefield. Under cover of a smokescreen and barrages of artillery the Germans began to withdraw our mines. Naumov and his platoon moved forward and fire from close range was to destroy the enemy sappers. In the ensuing battle, he personally killed 15 Nazis.
The regiment that day not only repulsed the counterattack Nazis, but also significantly expanded the bridgehead on the front and in depth. In the afternoon the division came to a wide Dnister estuary. He had to find a ford. This task was assigned to a platoon lieutenant Naumova, reinforced regimental scouts.
The enemy shelled the estuary of all weapons. Bank continuously beat the Field Artillery and mortars. Above the estuary circled enemy reconnaissance planes. On the western shore of the Nazis waged though bespritselny but intense machine-gun fire.
Risking their lives, a group of engineers and intelligence-led Naumov began exploration ford. Under cover of reeds, to his waist in water, Naumov went ahead, leading the people. Sometimes he fell into a pit, but once again was chosen to swim in shallow. Soldiers ford designated landmarks. Heavy and dangerous work lasted more than two hours and was completed just in time access to all parts of the estuary of the regiment. Completely exhausted Naumov, refused to rest and himself led to a ford explored advanced groups of infantry. The regiment crossed the estuary without loss and on the western bank seized important tactical abroad.
