H echaev Vyacheslav Filippovich - Squadron 6-th separate Guards Ground Attack Air Regiment (3rd Air Army, 1 st Baltic Front) Guard Captain. Born May 6, 1917 in the village now Berezniki Elias district of the Ivanovo region in a peasant family. Russian. Member of the CPSU (b) since 1943. Graduated 9 years of secondary school. After the workers' school in Ivanovo, worked as a joiner at the furniture factory. Simultaneously, he studied at the Ivanovo Aeroclub. In the Red Army since 1938. In 1940 he graduated from the Orenburg Air Force School of. Voroshilov and sent to the instructor in the Aero Club of Ivanovo.
In 1942, newly drafted into the army. On the Great Patriotic War from March 1943. He fought at Smolensk. In October 1943, in the Dukhovshchina-Yartsevo its IL-2 was shot down, but Nechaev was able to bring it to their airfield and land. Soon he was appointed commander of the link. He participated in the liberation of Belarus and the Baltics.
