Tin Ivan - Commander of 132 Infantry Division (47 Army, 1 st Belorussian Front), Colonel. Russian. Born Feb. 4, 1908 in St. Petersburg. He worked at the Baltic plant. Then he studied at the Leningrad komvuze, worked as a propagandist, District secretary of the Komsomol.
In the army since 1930. In 1937 he graduated from the Graduate School of Frontier, in 1942 Б? Military Academy of Frunze.
Member of the Great Patriotic War from June 1941. January 15, 1945, Colonel Solovyev skillfully organized breakthrough heavily fortified zone defense from the city Jabе?onna-Legyonovo (Poland). The division under his command, crossed the Vistula near the settlement of Chonstkuv and, building on the success in fighting progressed to 80 kilometers, freed 110 settlements, and took 800 prisoners. Facilitated the liberation of Warsaw.
W tion of Hero of the Soviet Union with the award of the Order of Lenin and medal "Gold Star" Ivan Vladimirovich Soloviev was awarded April 6, 1945.
Since 1946 he served in the army and MVD. He was deputy chief of police department of the Leningrad region and city executive committee, the police commissioner of rank 2. Б? Since 1960, retired.
He lived in Leningrad (now я?пҐпЎп?пЎ Б? St. Petersburg). Died Dec. 19, 1971. He was buried in St. Petersburg on Serafimov cemetery.
He was awarded the Order of Lenin, Red Banner, Suvorov 3rd degree, World War 1-st degree, 2 orders of Red Star and medals. Honorary citizen of Warsaw.
