Zimnitskiy Semen Semenovich

S. Zimnitskiy born December 24, 1873 in the Mogilev province. In 1893 he went to St. Petersburg and enters the Military Medical Academy. To prepare for a professorship Academy sends young doctors to two years on a scientific mission to the largest medical centers in Europe.

After returning SS. Zimnitskiy was sent to the Far East in the army at the front of the Russian-Japanese War. Here he manages to fulfill two major scientific research: to examine and describe the clinic of the disease and the causative agent Manchurian typhus, as well as work out the observations on the diagnosis and treatment of the wounded in the chest. The first work contains information about the first isolation and study of C. Zimnitskiy not previously known exciter Manchurian typhus.
