Slepkov Alexander (1899, Ryazan - 26.5.1937, Moscow), party activist, journalist. Educated in the Communist University YA.M. Sverdlov (1921) and the Institute of Red Professors (1924). In 1917 headed the Communist Party. He was arrested in Latvia for anti-state activities, but in 1918 released. In 1919 joined the RKP (b). In 1920-ies. taught at the Communist University. In 1924-28 he worked in the newspaper "Pravda", the journal "Bolshevik". At the same time a responsible instructor and head of. Agitation and Propaganda Department of the ECCI. In 1925 became the first editor of the "Komsomolskaya Pravda". He played against the line I.V. Stalin. In 1928, dismissed and transferred to the Mid-Volga Regional Committee of the CPSU (b) Head.
