Kaltenbrunner, Ernst (Kaltenbrunner), (1903-1946), head of RSHA (RSHA) (from 1943). Born October 4, 1903 in Ried, Austria, the family lawyer. He studied at the Higher Technical School in Graz. He received a law degree in 1926, worked in the court of Salzburg, then opened his own law office in Linz. In 1932 joined the NSDAP and the SS (from 1935 - the leader of the Austrian SS). Participated in the putsch of 1934, during which was killed by the Nazis, the Austrian Chancellor Dollfuss. Kaltenbrunner, Austrian authorities arrested after a brief stay in prison was released. During the Anschluss in March 1938, Kaltenbrunner was appointed State Secretary for Security in the office of Arthur Seyss-Inquart. Encountering arrived in Austria at the airport Himmler, Kaltenbrunner told him: "The Austrian SS await your further instructions". At the same time Kaltenbrunner led the eynzatsgrupp LEDs on the territory of Russia until its liquidation in 1943. Kaltenbrunner tried unsuccessfully to gain control of the Gestapo G. Mueller. At the end of the war Kaltenbrunner disappeared in the fortified mountain area of Tyrol, called the "Alpine Fortress". In May 1945 the Allies arrested. Ernst Kaltenbrunner was born in Ried im Innkreis, Oberцsterreich 2/ Ernst K. became a member of the NSDAP in November 1930 and a member of SS in August 1931 3/ "Reed near Braunau" doesn't exist in Austria. Correct would be : Ried im Innviertel, about 40 kms east from Braunau am Inn 4/ "Kayzershteynbruh" : didn't en doesn't exist in Austria. Correct woud be : Kaisersteinbruch 5/"At the end of the war Kaltenbrunner disappeared in the fortified mountain area of Tyrol, called the "Alpine Fortress". : not at all in Tyrol, but in the region of Altaussee, region Salzkammergut and the Land Steiermark.
