Giorgi XI (1675-1709). After the death of the king of Kartli Vakhtang became his eldest son George XI. King George XI by all means tried to throw off the yoke of Iranian. He asked for help against Iran to Turkey, but in vain. George appealed to Pope for support, but neither he nor the European countries, Georgia was not interested in. George maintained his younger brother Archil, pretender to the throne of Imereti. Shah demanded that George captivating brother, but the king failed to comply with an order. Moreover, George opposed the supporters of Iran - Kartli Tawada and tried to take Kakheti. In response to his actions against Iran, the shah dismissed him and in 1688 the king of Kartli approved Heraclius I.

Giorgi XI was not going to tolerate the loss of the throne of the king. They have four years of war with each other, but George was unable to regain his throne. He first joined the Imereti, and then went to the Shah. Shah, of course, could have been severely punished, but then it was not before. Afghans revolted and over Iran faces a grave danger. George stood in the service of the Shah, and soon distinguished himself in front of him.

In 1703 Shah Sultan Hussein, King of Kartli reappointed George XI. Shah did not let the king of Georgia. He was granted the rank spasalara and beglarbega Afghan province Kandaar, but for all these honors George had to fight with the Afghan-tsami. Ruler of Kartli was called-on-chen's nephew George Vakhtang XI, son of Le Van.

Giorgi XI successfully fought with Afghan rebels, tsami. In his army were two of thousands of Georgians. The Afghan leader Mir-Weiss suggested George intermarry and invited him to a feast. King trusted him and came with a small detachment. Afghans treacherously killed George, along with accompa-giving-PWM his party in 1709. World-Weiss withdrew from the king hanging on his breast a cross and sent the Shah in the proof of "loyalty" George Iran-sky master.
