Biography Karel Capek
Karel Capek (Capek) was born January 9, 1890 in the male-Svatonevitse, died Dec. 25, 1938 in Prague.

He graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy University of Prague (1915). His works were published in 1907. Much of the early stories 1908-13 (included in the collections of 'Garden Krakonoе?', 1918; 'Shining depth', 1916) written jointly with his brother J. Capek.

. Creativity Capek had a significant impact on the development of modern social science fiction and was an outstanding contribution to the world's classic literature. In Czechoslovakia, there are two museums Capek: country house-museum 'On strzhi' and the memorial museum in his homeland.
