Biography Agranovsky Anatoly Abramovich
Agranovsky, Anatoliy A. (1922-1984), Russian journalist, novelist, screenwriter. Born January 8, 1922 in Kharkov in the family of journalist. In 1937 his father was arrested Agranovsky. In 1939 Agranovskii joined the history department of Moscow State Pedagogical Institute. Liebknecht. In 1943-1944 was a cadet of the Military Aviation School shooters, bombers, and then was sent to study at the Higher Military Aviation School for Navigators (1944-1946). After graduation engaged in military journalism. In 1946-1947 published in the newspaper of the Moscow Military District 'The Courage'. Already in the first years of Agranovsky particularly attracted genre essay.
After demobilization he worked as an artist-animator, assistant cameraman, retoucher, graphic designer, wrote film scripts. In 1956-1958 he studied at the Higher literary courses at the Literary Institute. Gorky SPSSSR. After the course Agranovskii fully dedicated to journalistic activities. He was a member of 'Literary Gazette', published in the journals 'Banner' and 'New World'. In 1961 became a special correspondent for the newspaper Izvestia.

Agranovsky favorite hero was an enthusiast, fighting for the common good in various fields. Despite the journalistic passion inherent in all of its materials, Agranovsky not impose the reader an unambiguous view of the events described, giving him the opportunity to make their own conclusions. He repeatedly emphasized that the essence of his journalistic position is to trust the reader.

For Agranovsky was characterized by attention to their heroes: for some (such as an ophthalmologist SN Fedorov, whom he 'discovered'), he watched for several years. In the 1970's Agranovsky called 'reporter's number one'. Many bright publicists adjustment period called themselves his disciples. During his lifetime he published over 20 books, which fully embodies his journalistic and human experience.

Agranovsky died in Moscow on 14 April 1984.
