Biography ANOSOV Nikolai Pavlovich
Anosov, Nikolai Pavlovich (1900-1962), Russian conductor, pedagogue. Born in Borisoglebsk (Tambov Province) 5 (17) February 1900 within the family branch manager of the Volga-Kama Bank. He received his musical education at home. At the end of the Alexander Gymnasium in breech Borisoglebsk in 1918 entered the Tepliy stan Agricultural Academy in Moscow. A year later he volunteered in the Red Army, one year later, as a cadet of the First Artillery School, participated in the suppression of the Kronstadt mutiny. With knowledge of foreign languages was sent to work in the Soviet Embassy in the foreign aid agencies, worked in the People's Commissariat of Foreign Affairs. Anosov repertoire was very extensive, he was the first performer of many works of Soviet composers, a significant number of operas and symphonic works written Anosov on records and Fund-Union Radio. The style of his conductor's interpretations were more attention to the voice-and all the details of the orchestral texture. Anosov - author of "Practical Guide to reading the symphonic scores" (1951), numerous articles and book reviews, and translations (from German, English and French) of a number of articles and books of foreign conductors. He owns several pieces of music. Anosov died in Moscow on Dec. 2, 1962.

His eldest son - the conductor Gennady Rozhdestvensky, Jr. - artist PN Anosov.
