Born September 23, 1963 in Khabarovsk.
In 1985 he graduated from the Ural Polytechnic Institute, specializing in mechanical engineer ". In 1992 he graduated from the Literary Institute. M. Gorky's Writers' Union of Russia.
. From August 1985 to July 1987 he worked as an engineer-mechanic in the Institute of Engineering Sciences of the USSR.
. On June 22, 1992 to October 3, 1993 - Head of the Department of criticism, "the weekly spiritual opposition" Day ".
. On October 4, 1993 - Head of the department of literature "the weekly State of Russia" "Tomorrow."
