On the first education - teacher of physics. In 1996 graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the Academy of State Service under the President of Russia.
. Worked in law enforcement - from the employee's criminal investigation to the Deputy Chief of the Volgograd Regional Department of the Interior.
. In 1980 - 81 in the special unit (the first detachment of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs) served as a volunteer in Afghanistan.
. In 1990 was elected to the City Council of the Volga, from August 1991 until the fall of the 1993rd chairman.
. 17 December 1995 was elected deputy of RF State Duma of the second convocation.
. In April 1997, was included in the Commission's verification of the participation of officials of state authorities of Russia and the authorities of the RF subjects in corrupt activities.
