ALBERT Yuri

1959, Moscow. He studied at the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute. Lenin (artistic-graphic faculty, 1977-80). Founding member of the Club Avant-gardists (CLAVA) (1987). Lives and works in Moscow and Cologne. Stylistically the work of Albert 1980. can be attributed to the Moscow conceptualism. Thus for the artist is a distinctive appeal to humor, quoting the classics of modernism, appropriation as an artistic method, and program understanding their place in the global art context. Albert has participated in many exhibitions in Russia, the USA and Germany. The artist's paintings are stored in the Gallery of Modern Art Museum Tsaritsino, Phyllis Kind Gallery, New York.
