Gorokhovskiy Edouard

1929, Vinnitsa, Ukraine. He graduated from the Odessa Civil Engineering Institute (specialty: Architecture, 1954). Lives and works in Moscow and in Frankfurt, Germany. In his works the artist is constantly drawn to the aesthetics of photography and uses photorealistic techniques in conjunction with the principle of collage. "I love the picture - for me it's a whole world of characters who left or leaving people with forgotten fate and life," - says the artist. Gorokhovsky participated in exhibitions: Eduard Gorokhovsky, CASE Museum, Jersey City, USA (1989), "Photo-picture-picture", State Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow, (1999) and others. The artist's works are kept in the Pushkin Museum of.
