Biography Nicholas Milioti
1874, Moscow - 1962, Paris. He studied at Moscow University and MUZHVZ, in private studios in Paris. He graduated from the Sorbonne. Life member of the Paris Autumn Salon in 1906 and from 1910 - "World of Art. Member of Russian and international exhibitions since 1905. Since the early 1920's lived in Paris, taught in the Russian Academy "T.L. Sukhotin Tolstoi. Portraitist, by symbolist compositions. A typical representative of the Moscow symbolism 1900-10 period, with its propensity for musical color. Many of the artist's works are inspired by the poetic cycle P. Verlaine's "gallant festivals" and paid tribute to retrospectivist, peculiar miriskusnikam. His works are in the Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow; SRM, St. Petersburg, etc.. meetings.
