Milovidov Boris

1902 - 1975, Saratov. He studied at the Free Art Workshop and Saratov Art School (1918-26). He was a union "4 Art. From 1926 he taught at the highest state of free workshops. Honored Worker of Culture of the RSFSR (1974). He was engaged in drawing, lithography, design and illustrating books, posters (during the war). He painted mostly landscapes and genre scenes. His work is characterized by a serious attitude to the strict, "academic" drawing and a deep respect for the traditions of Russian painting. His works are held in the Art Museum of. AN.
