David Cronenberg was born March 15, 1943 in Toronto. He graduated from the University of Toronto. Even during training, David Cronenberg creates two experimental short films: 'Stereo' (1969) and `Crimes of the Future` (1970). The first commercial Cronenberg movie, `Shivers`, was released in 1975. Directed by shooting a lot, and from his films deserve special mention 'Scanners', `Fly`, `Dead Zone`, `Naked Lunch'. The penultimate band David Cronenberg, 'car wreck' (1996), filmed on the novel Dzh.G.Ballarda, caused a lot of noise, caused controversy and won recognition at several film festivals.
