RAYTMEN Ivan

RAYTMEN (Reitman) Ivan (p. 27. 10. 1946), American film director and producer. He was born in Komarno (Czechoslovakia).
. When Ivan was five years old, his family moved to Canada, as well as his father's business went bad, the boy received a good education in Makmasterskom University.
. His path to the cinema began with erotic pictures - the 'Red Lady' (Foxy Lady, 1971) and 'Girls cannibal' (Cannibal Girls, 1973), because of which even had trouble with the police morals
. The lesson went on benefit, and Ivan chose to (and not without success) to address the producers' work in film and television. His show, the first in Canada, and then on American television, had a huge success, and soon he was invited to make a movie as a director. RSS Raytmena really kind and human. His characters - nice and charming people who can get into ridiculous situations, but never humiliate others and not degrade ourselves. Probably just that they are close and understandable to the audience, which is rightly considered Raytmena one of the best masters of comedy.
