STERLTGOV Alexander

Born in 1943 From 1960 to 1966 he studied at the Moscow Automobile and Road Institute (MADI), in 1966-1967 - at the Higher Courses of the KGB of the USSR in Moscow.
From 1967 to 1983 he worked in the Office of the KGB in Moscow and Moscow region. During this time, advanced in the service of operational staff to the Deputy Chief of Counter-Intelligence Service. Member of the CPSU from 1970 until its prohibition.
In 1983, among 150 employees of the KGB was sent to the Secretary General Yuri Andropov, CPSU Central Committee on "strengthening" of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs.

In January 1993, at the extended plenum of the Movement "Officers of the revival of the Motherland" was nominated for mayor of Moscow (officially registered as a candidate was put forward by the Assembly of Citizens).
