Biography Dobroslavin Alexei Petrovich
(1842-1889 gg.) - A prominent Russian hygienist. In 1868, Mr.. thesis on materials for the physiology of metamorphosis. Since 1871. the first time in Russia began to read in the Imperial Medico-Surgical Academy lectures on hygiene, thereby ushering in self-teaching of this science in Russia. He created a laboratory of experimental studies and practical exercises with the students, created a chair of hygiene in IMHA, which led to the end of life. Written more than 90 scientific papers, mainly in the field of food hygiene. Particularly noteworthy are two of his major work: a two-volume "Course of Hygiene (Course of Public Health)", released in 1882-1884. and the Course of Military Hygiene "in 2 volumes, published in 1885-1887., - the first original works on hygiene in Russian. Alexey founded the popular science magazine "Health" and was its editor until 1884
