Biography Kravkov Nikolai Pavlovich
(1865-1924 gg.) - Russia's eminent pharmacologist. In 1894, Mr.. defended his doctoral dissertation on amyloid-induced experimentally in animals. In 1899. was elected Professor of Pharmacology and guided it to the end of his life. He created the theory of phase effects of drugs, has developed several new methods for the study of isolated organs, is the founder of Pharmacology pathological processes. He is the author of the manual "Fundamentals of Pharmacology" (St. Petersburg, 1904), reissued in 1933.
