Biography Wagner, Vladimir
(1849-1934) - Russian biologist and psychologist, founder of the national comparative psychology. Author of books 'The biological basis of comparative psychology', 1910 - 1913 and 'The emergence and development of mental abilities', 1924 - 1929. Has developed a special method of investigation based on a comparison of behavior similar to the species of animals ( 'biological method'). Conducted studies of instinctive behavior, on the basis of which put forward the hypothesis that the variability instincts.
