Born July 1, 1919 in St. Petersburg in the family of a sailor. He graduated from the Chemical Faculty of Leningrad State University (1947). He worked at LSU as an assistant, lecturer, head of the Laboratory of the Research Institute of Chemistry, LSU, Dean of Chemical Faculty of Leningrad State University. Since 1972 - Director of the Institute of Silicate Chemistry of the IV Grebenshchikova Sciences. In 1959 he defended his thesis on the study of the function of the sodium glass electrode. In 1965, the results of studies of electrode properties of glasses he defended his thesis for the degree of Doctor of Chemical Sciences. . In 1972 he was elected a corresponding member in 1979 - a full member (academician) of the USSR. . Russia's well-known scientist in the field of physical chemistry, thermodynamics, chemistry and electrochemistry of glass, membrane electrochemistry . Academician M. Schulz died on Oct. 9, 2006 I recommend you also fix the number of his scientific work, which exceeds the 500 (approx. 520) with 601 publications in 2004 |
