In 1969. graduated from Radio Engineering Department UPI, he served in the Army Air Defense Forces officer, a specialist class 1.
In 1963 he started mountaineering and climbing. He became a coach and community leader. In 1965 he was elected Chairman of the Mountaineering Section UPI. In 1967, during the winter ascent of the Tien Shan was injured during training and had to sit under a rock, which greatly accelerated the transition to the coaches.
