Faisal (Faisal) I

1885 - 1933
Belonged to the Hashemite dynasty. In 1920, with the assistance of the British was proclaimed King of Syria. In the same year, after France has the mandate for Syria, Faisal was forced to leave the country. In 1921, again with the assistance of Britain, was proclaimed King of Iraq.
