Biography Vasily Anisimov Afanasievich
son of a peasant Smolensk province. Born in 1860, graduated from a course at Moscow State University, in 1889 he was appointed assistant professor at Moscow University and defended his master's thesis "Foundations of the theory of linear partial differential equations" (Moscow) since 1890 Professor of Pure Mathematics University of Warsaw, in 1892 defended his doctoral dissertation "The terms of Fuchs and its applications", . in 1898 was still the chair of Pure Mathematics at the Warsaw Polytechnic Institute,
