Biography WALTER G. Victor
Born in 1865. He graduated from the course at the Kharkov University in St. Petersburg. Conservatory violin class of Professor Auer. Received on a competitive place in the first concertmaster of the orchestra of the Imperial Russian Opera in St. Petersburg. He played in the quartet meetings sf. Chamber of society and the Russian quartet evenings (Stamp. Belyaev), playing the game the first violin. His main works: "How to teach the violin" (3rd edition, 1910), "lover of music education (2 nd edition, 1911)," Opera MI. Glinka's Ruslan and Lyudmila, "In Defense of Art", "string quartet by Beethoven," "An illustrated biography of Richard Wagner's" Der Ring des Nibelungen.
