(1810 - 1866), translated from English, French, German and Spanish. Of his translations issued two dramas of Calderon: "Here in England" and "Life is a Dream", the first part of Goethe's Faust (M., . 1843, . and St. Petersburg., . 1859), "Romeo and Juliet" by Shakespeare (St. Petersburg, . 1862); drama Girardin "torture of women", a poem by Alfred de Musset's "Roll" (M., . 1864); poem by Heine (M., . 1863) and pr, . Translations Grekova differ a good verse, and quite close to the originals. He himself was not devoid of poetic talent, his poems had been appearing in magazines in 1830 - 50 years - most of the impressions evoked by the paintings of nature.
