Biography ZASODIMSKY Pavel (Vologdin)
(1843 - 1912). For some time listening to the St. Petersburg University lectures on the law faculty and then was a popular and tutor. Having studied the lives of rural and urban poor, Zasodimsky imbued with ardent love to the - as he puts it - "a sullen people living in proholod and progolod, to which life on this earth is not cheerful penal servitude". Little people and their suffering - such is the usual content of stories and novels Zasodimskogo. Since 1868. he placed in the "case" story "Sinner", . story: "wolf", . In Fatherland Notes 1874. attracted the attention of a novel Zasodimskogo of rural life: "Chronicle of the village Smurina" (separately, St. Petersburg., 1875 and 1906). In 1878 - 1880 he. in "Word" placed stories Zasodimskogo "Who is in own way", "Terekhin dream", etc.. In 1880, Mr.. Zasodimsky becomes a member of the magazine "Russian Wealth," where, incidentally, published his novel "Steppe secrets". In the journal "Observer" put his story: "In cities and villages". Best of the stories Zasodimskogo for children included in the anthologies: "intimate stories" and "Byvalschina and fairy tales", reprinted several times. Collected Works Zasodimskogo in 2 volumes published in St. Petersburg in 1895. Was followed by: "Tales from a distant age" (Moscow, 1901) and "Out of memory" (Moscow, 1908). - See. P.
