Biography Zenovich Spiridonov (Zienowicz)
(1779 - 1856) In 1814, Mr.. entered a teacher of chemistry, mineralogy and geognosy in Volyn Gymnasium (later senior), where he taught and technology, at the opening of the University of St. Vladimir (1834) was appointed full professor of chemistry, in 1837. made dean of the Faculty of Philosophy Branch II, in 1839, Mr.. retired. Zenovich left a lot of books and manuscripts, among other things, "Pamietniki z czasow Stanislawa Augusta", which refers Lelewel in "Hist. de Pologne "(t. II, p. 195). In 1837, Mr.. Zenovich transmitted to the Academy of Sciences of the argument on the need to change the common grounds of Sciences, all theories and systems, and expect only the approval of the Academy to publish a new theory of chemistry, but no answer. Published in its "List do Henryka hr. Rzewuskiego obejmujacy pomysly autora o calym obrebie nauk przyrodzonych "etc. (Vilna, 1851).
