Biography Kaå¥danov Ivan Kuzmich
(1782 - 1843) He studied at the Kiev Theological Academy and Institute of Education, at the end of the course where in 1808. sent to overseas universities. Upon his return, in 1811, appointed professor of Tsarskoe Selo Lyceum (he studied at Pushkin) and soon gained fame as the author of historical books ( "Ilovajskij" at the time). His works are: "the basis of universal political history. Part I. Ancient History "(St.-Petersburg, . 1814), "Guide to the knowledge of the general political history" (Saint-Petersburg, . 1821, . 13th edition); "Short mark in world history" (Saint-Petersburg, . 1821, . 16-th edition), "Font Style history of the state of Russia (St. Petersburg, . 1829, . 4 th edition), "History of the Middle Ages" (3rd edition) and "History of the last three centuries until 1831" (2 nd edition), "Short mark of Russia's history" (5 th edition), "Summary of Russia's diplomacy of the court since his accession to the throne of the House of Romanov" (St. Petersburg, . 1833), . Some of his books have been translated into the languages Polish, German, French and Romanian.
