Biography Karastelev Cornelius I.
(1829  1886) in Richelieu Lyceum, a course which he graduated in 1847, and Mathematics of Moscow University  in 1850 from 1854, Mr.. Associate of pure mathematics in Richelieu Lyceum. After defending his thesis at Moscow University, "The theory of integrals of functions of an imaginary variable number" (Moscow, 1860), recognized as a master of pure and applied mathematics and became a professor at Lyceum. Doctor of Applied Mathematics, Kharkov University recognized for his thesis: "The theory of change of the arbitrary constants and its application to the calculation of changes in elements of the planets" (Odessa, 1865). With the transformation of Richelieu Lyceum in Novorossiysk University Karastelev elected full professor of mechanics and read up to 1885. In theses published: "A Collection of formulas and targets, . related to the integral calculus "(Odessa, . 1857), "Application of the theory of functions of an imaginary variable to a series expansion in the coordinates of elliptic motion, and the disturbing function" ( "West Imperial Novorossiysk University, . Volume XIX, . 1876), . At one time (1868) edited the "Novorossiysk Telegraph.
