Biography Kashkin Nikolay
Born in 1839, Mr.. He taught at the Moscow Conservatory theory and history of music and playing the piano. A musical collaborators "Russian Gazette", then "Moscow Gazette. His major works: the most common Russian textbook of elementary music theory (1875, many editions), "Essay on the history of Russian music", "Opera Stage of the Bolshoi Theater of Moscow" (under the pseudonym N. Dmitriev, 1897), lively and interesting "Memoirs" on the PI. Tschaikowsky (1896) and H. Rubinstein.
