Biography Linitsky Petr Ivanovich
(1839 - 1906). Qualified as Doctor of Divinity for the essay "Plato's Doctrine of the Deity" (Kiev, 1876). His Master's thesis: "Different areas of German philosophy after Hegel in its attitude to religion," was published in the journal "Faith and Reason" in 1887, Mr.. And under the pseudonym. Petrov. Was professor of philosophy at the Kiev Theological Academy. Linitsky repeatedly emphasized the rationalistic character of his philosophy. The essence of rationalism turns Linitskim antithesis of his empiricism. He does not deny the empirical science, because it limits its research objectives of the facts or the phenomenal aspect of being. Philosophy must take all valuable in empiricism, but the right of assessment belongs to the mind, with its beginnings of a priori. Philosophical principles Linitskogo most clearly expressed in his books: "The idealism and realism" and "Basic Problems of Philosophy" (Kiev, 1901).
