Biography Mel'gunov Nikolai
(1804 - 1867). He studied in boarding school at St. Petersburg Pedagogical Institute (1818 - 20), then abroad. He served in the Moscow archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Print set of novels, short stories, critical-historical-literary and journalistic articles, signed by most of the aliases: H. Livenskij, H. L and L-sky. Separately issued: "The stories about the past and unprecedented" (Moscow, . 1834), . "The history of a book" (Moscow, . 1839; refers to a book on Russian literature, . published in Berlin Koenig, . which Mel'gunov reported information about the Russian writer), .
